is a language based sports answer engine.
We currently support historical MLB data (1871-2013). We will be expanding our data to
include realtime sports data as well as other sports.
stats.zone uses some very innovative technologies, the most important of
which is our Formula Engine. The stats.zone Formula Engine allows you, the user,
to configure your own custom stat formulas and then apply them across our datasets
using natural language.
For example, the most basic formula is a baseball player's batting average:
hits / at-bats
where at-bats >= 450
To query the formula, simply say batting average
Example: What was Roberto Alomar's career batting average?
