He played in 1884 to 1901 as Pitcher, Outfielder, Short Stop and 1st Base for the New York Giants, the Philadelphia Phillies, the Brooklyn Superbas, the Baltimore Orioles, the Washington Senators, the Pittsburgh Pirates, the Pittsburgh Burghers, the Pittsburg Alleghenys, the Philadelphia Quakers and the Philadelphia Keystones.
