Ed Swartwood is a Major League Baseball player. He played in 1881 to 1892 as Outfielder, Pitcher, Catcher, Short Stop, 1st Base and 3rd Base for the Pittsburgh Pirates, the Toledo Maumees, the Brooklyn Grays, the Pittsburg Alleghenys and the Buffalo Bisons.
