Jim Whitney is a Major League Baseball player. He played in 1881 to 1890 as Pitcher, Outfielder, 1st Base and 3rd Base for the Philadelphia Athletics, the Indianapolis Hoosiers, the Washington Nationals, the Kansas City Cowboys, the Boston Beaneaters and the Boston Red Caps.
