He played in 1883 to 1892 as Short Stop, 3rd Base, 2nd Base, Outfielder and 1st Base for the St. Louis Browns, the Louisville Colonels, the Cincinnati Reds, the Columbus Solons, the Pittsburgh Burghers, the Pittsburg Alleghenys and the Columbus Buckeyes.
