Bones Ely is a Major League Baseball player. He played in 1884 to 1902 as Short Stop, 3rd Base, 2nd Base, Pitcher, Outfielder and 1st Base for the Washington Senators, the Pittsburgh Pirates, the Philadelphia Athletics, the St. Louis Browns, the Brooklyn Grooms, the Syracuse Stars, the Louisville Colonels and the Buffalo Bisons.
