Charley Bassett is a Major League Baseball player. He played in 1884 to 1892 as 3rd Base, 2nd Base, Short Stop, Catcher and Outfielder for the New York Giants, the Louisville Colonels, the Indianapolis Hoosiers, the Kansas City Cowboys and the Providence Grays.
