He played in 1884 to 1912 as Catcher, 1st Base, Short Stop, Outfielder, 3rd Base and Pitcher for the Detroit Tigers, the Cleveland Naps, the New York Highlanders, the Brooklyn Superbas, the Washington Senators, the Washington Statesmen, the Rochester Broncos, the Philadelphia Quakers, the Detroit Wolverines, the Cleveland Blues and the Toledo Blue Stockings.
