He played in 1871 to 1890 as Short Stop, Pitcher, 3rd Base, 1st Base, Outfielder, Catcher and 2nd Base for the Buffalo Bisons, the Pittsburg Alleghenys, the Detroit Wolverines, the Cincinnati Reds, the Boston Red Caps, the Chicago White Stockings, the Boston Red Stockings and the Cleveland Forest Citys.
