He played in 1888 to 1903 as Short Stop, Outfielder, 3rd Base, 2nd Base, 1st Base, Pitcher and Catcher for the Philadelphia Phillies, the Cleveland Blues, the Brooklyn Bridegrooms, the St. Louis Browns, the Philadelphia Athletics and the Philadelphia Quakers.
